Do YOu need a Business ATTORNEY?

As a business law firm, we help our clients to achieve their business goals and objectives.  We negotiate the best terms on our client's behalf, and we put effective written contracts and agreements in place so that our clients are free to focus on what they do best - business.
At Doran Law we serve our clients by:
Negotiating the deal,
Obtaining the best terms,
Putting it in writing, and
CLOSING THE DEAL
At Doran Law, we represent our clients’ interests in a wide variety of business transactions.
Whether it involves -
  • Forming a corporation or LLC;
  • Buying or selling a business;
  • Negotiating and drafting a Shareholder Agreement or Operating Agreement;
  • Buying, selling or leasing real estate;
  • Negotiating and drafting a Stock Purchase Agreement or Asset Purchase Agreement;
  • Drafting a Non-Disclosure Agreement (VERY IMPORTANT!!! Don't do business without one);
  • Negotiating and drafting an Employment Agreement or Independent Contractor Agreement;
  • Negotiating a Franchise Agreement;
  • Assisting a client to become certified as a Minority or Woman Owned Business (MWBE);
  • Representing a client in a loan transaction, merchant cash advance transaction or other financing transaction, regardless of whether our client is the borrower or lender; or
  • Reviewing and enhancing contracts that our client routinely uses with its customers or vendors;
Our job is to help our client identify and address key deal issues, negotiate the best terms, put the deal in writing and close the deal. Regardless of the transaction type, effective negotiation and a well-written Agreement are key. We believe that we have a responsibility to our client to not only ensure that the deal happens, but to make sure that it happens in a way that optimally promotes, protects and serves our client’s interests.

In addition to putting an effective written Contract in place for a specific business transaction, every business should also have a strong written Agreement in place for its day-to-day dealings with customers.  The Agreement should clearly spell out the terms, conditions and scope of the goods or services being provided to the customer, minimize potential liability to the business, and ensure that the business is in compliance with all applicable laws.
  • Are you covered?
  • When was the last time that you took a really hard look at the Contract that you're using every day with your customers?
  • Is your contract stale?
  • Does it still make sense?
  • Does it protect you as well as it should?
If you feel vulnerable in any area of business and need a legally binding Agreement -
We do that!  We pride ourselves in assisting our clients with virtually all of their legal business needs.

We encourage any business or individual who is dealing with a Contract of any kind to seek the guidance of a competent business attorney. After all, after family and health, protecting your business and assets is your top priority.
